Shame on you Bob Marshall!

Shame on you for passing blame and judgment on good women.  The door for guilt is wide open when you have a child with special needs.  There is not one of us who hasn't ask at one time or another if we could have caused it in some way... if there is something more we could do now. We have all called out to God in our darkest hours and begged for strength to go on one more moment.

 

Virginia lawmaker: Children with disabilities are God’s punishment to women who previously had abortions.

On Thursday, Virginia State Delegate Bob Marshall (R) spoke at a press conference against state funding for Planned Parenthood. He blasted the organization for supporting a women’s right to choose, saying that God punishes women who have had abortions by giving them disabled children.

I just think this is the saddest thing I have ever heard.  Really Bob?  You believe this?

My first thought was "Well, what punishment does your God have for ignorant people who are judgmental about subjects they clearly know nothing about?"

I just want to say that I have never had an abortion, I was married to my childs father and we planed to have her.  I have always been spiritual and .... I have a child with a severe handicap.

My daughter is an Angel in the Truest form of the world.  She has taught me so much more than I ever could have learned with out her.  I have learned the real meaning of sacrifice, I have learned deeper compassion for all people, I have learned to love and communicate.  My daughter has repaired my relationship with my own mother.  She is the biggest Blessing anyone could hope to get.
Is it easy?   No not at all. 
Is it worth it?   Absolutely!
So Bob, please think about this for a moment...
If you are not comfortable around Angles here on earth there is no place for you in Heaven.
