Kalista is setting next to me on the sofa.  We are hiding under a blanket watching the rescuers down under.  every time there is a scary part  we have to cover our eyes and scream a little.

I have heard of scaring  the hiccups out of some one....  well, Kalista just got the hiccups scared into her!

They are super loud and they make me laugh.  She doesn't think it is funny so she hits me when she has one.

Kalista is on the sofa sawing logs.

I heard a funny noise that I didn't recognize so I went over to investigate.

She is holding her ipad like it is a teddy bear and I can't pry it from her hands.

What ever it takes to get her to sleep right?

good words

We are just taking a little break from school and I am just amazed at how well Kalista is communicating today.

I ask her what she wanted for lunch ad she said ((using words not signs))  "cheese sandwich.  Please?  OK."

It was so clear and I was amazed because she pronounced the (ch) in sandwich and the (l) in please!  Yay!

Yhen she wanted to watch a movie while she ate lunch and I ask her which one.  She told me "See Sherman".  I really had no idea what she was talking about but she handed me Nemo so I put that in.

We are at the part where they find the goggles....  Kalista gets really excited and points and says "Seeee Sherman!!!"

P. Sherman is the name on the goggles!

Yes they must say that 50 times or so in the movie but it never occurred to me that she would think it was the name of the movie.   Now I know.

the midnight emailer.....

As you all know K does not sleep much at all.  That means that I am one tired momma.  So it is a normal thing for me to fall asleep on the sofa or turn the sleep timer on the tv and go to bed.

I did that last night and apparently K played on the computer.  Normally I think that is great.  She likes to play on starfall and pbs kids.  Last night while I was sleeping...  she emailed at least one person I know.  Sadly, it was not a close friend or a mom....  (who may think it was cute or at least understand)

I got an email from him that said "the following are instructions on how to lock your computer and a link to to some really good software you may want to install".

This is SO embarrassing!   Hello! My name is Bobbi and I leave my child unattended sometimes.

In so many ways having an Angel is like having a toddler... only I haven't been able to let my guard down for 11 years!  ((except when my saint of a mother takes her so I can rest))

So dear friends, if you received a midnight email from me, please disregard!
