autism=Angel

My daughter K is a really real Angel.  I am not just saying that because I am her mom.  No, I believe that about all people with autism.  Their life is harder than the average life because they are so sensitive to everything.  It is said that they have no feelings.  This is so far from the truth it is funny.  Angels have SO many big feelings that they have a hard time being around people sometimes.  K feels so much she forgets what do do with her body.

Angels trust with out question.  They are love and give it freely.  That is why they need good moms to look out for them.

Angels don't lie or manipulate.  They don't even know how.  Can you imagine it?   Just saying what you mean and meaning what you say?  No wonder they are so confused all the time.  The English language is so symbolic.  We have funny phrases like  "don't spill the beans", "raining cats and dogs",  and  "hold your horses".  that doesn't even touch on the world of sarcasm.

Angels get really excited about things and may learn EVERYTHING there is to know about it.  They sometimes forget that others are not that interested in it.  This can make them seem self absorbed.  That is not true.  They just want to share something that means a lot to them with you.   K loves all things water.  She would live in the water  if I would let her.  She is also a wonderful chef.  One day she will have a Gluten free cook book.  I am already taking the photos for it.

Here is my sweet girl being the best "dog mom" ever.  She sat out there for days and days taking care of Buck.
