Kalista ran a load of laundry today! 

I had no idea she even knew what to do.  I have never taught her.  I came around the corner and saw her in the laundry room so I just watched to see what she was doing.  She did put darks and colors together. (that's ok)  She measured out the laundry soap and turned the knobs correctly.

I was really proud of her. 

Then she put every thing in the dryer when it was time.   I already knew she could start the dryer.  Most of the time the problem is that she will spill something on her shirt and the put it in the dryer.  The stain is almost always set before I catch it.

I love that she is learning real skills that will help her through life.
